Metcalfe Landcare Mission

Metcalfe Landcare works alongside our local community to protect and restore indigenous habitats, waterways and wildlife across the Coliban landscape.

We focus on planting native species, controlling weeds and pest animals, and regenerating fragile ecosystems so that our landscapes remain healthy, resilient and productive.

By drawing in funding, sharing practical skills and promoting what we do, we support landholders and residents to care for country in ways that are locally led and evidence‑based.

Through education, on‑ground projects and social activities, we bring people together, foster local pride and create habitat corridors that connect our properties, rivers and remnant Yellow Box woodlands.

Our sights are firmly set on the wellbeing of our unique region, so that Metcalfe remains a thriving place for people, plants and animals, now and for generations to come.
